Faith

Kindergarten through 8th grade students participate in a Religion class taught by a staff member who has Catechetical certification from the Springfield Diocese.

In addition to offering a fine curriculum, the students’ daily activities are centered around the Catholic Faith. The students worship together and take part in the liturgy on Thursdays by attending an All-School Mass.

Students who are not Catholic will learn about the Christian traditions and join in with their classmates in prayer and worship in their respective ways.

Technology

St. Paul Catholic School utilizes technology in the classroom through the use of Chromebooks, SmartBoards, iPads, and Kindles to enhance learning. Students in grades 4th - 8th are supplied with a Chromebook to access online textbooks and to complete classroom assignments.

Grades 1st - 3rd have their own portable Chromebook lab while the Preschool has iPad centers for the students.

Our Makerspace is a place where we promote hands-on, creative ways that encourage students to design, experiment, and build. This STEM lab introduces students to Robotics, Electronics, Digital Printing, and much more.

Reading Center

Our Reading Center is available to students at regularly scheduled times or on an “as-needed” basis. The teacher keeps in close contact with classroom teachers and parents concerning the needs and progress of the students.

Please contact Mrs. Renee Mitchell, Vice Principal & Reading Resource Director if you have any concerns.
